Kimmswick Strawberry Festival Set for This Weekend
The event will feature tons of strawberries, food and craft vendors, children's rides, a petting zoo and live music.

Kimmswick's second largest-attended event of the year is set for the weekend - the Strawberry Festival.Â
It's an event that many look forward to each year. The only other citywide Kimmswick festival that attracts even larger crowds is the Apple Butter Festival, which is the last weekend in October.Â
This weekend's event is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. It will take place on the streets of the small town in its business district. All shops and restaurants will be open.

The festival will also have children's carnival rides and inflatables, pony rides, a petting zoo and horse-drawn carriage rides. Ten different lives bands will be on hand at the event. The band schedule can be found here.

All streets in the city will be closed to vehicle traffic. There is a lot off Highway K in which visitors can park and walk a short distance to the festival. Fairgoers can also park for a fee at the Windsor C-1 School District campus at 6208 US Highway 61-67 and take a shuttle bus to the festival.
