Lindbergh Ices Chaminade in Top Hat Classic Hockey Tournament
Lindbergh's varsity hockey team advances to championship game today in the 2012 Top Hat Classic Fall Tournament.
Lindbergh and Chaminade kept the fans on their feet at Tuesday night's semi-final game in the Webster Groves Top Hat Classic fall tournament. The Flyers won with a score of 3 to 2.
Lindbergh will face CBC for the championship at 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Webster Groves Ice Arena.
Patch caught up with Flyer's Head Coach Greg Anderson to see how he felt about the Flyers win.

"Thereβs numerous people that this one goes to. It starts with our goal tender Luke Opilka. We relied on all of our βD,β from Tyler Opilka--Luke's brother--to Kyle Meeh to Brett Czaicki. But I stress teamwork. So, thereβs numerous guys who all made it come off. We run three lines," Anderson said.
Anderson said Chaminade was a good team.

βI expected that, I didnβt know how weβd stand up to them. Weβre fairly young. Going into it, I knew it was going to be a good game. Theyβre a quality programβwe knew it would be a tough game. Itβs early in the season and I hope we can grow from this and have a snowball effect."
