• Milford Eugene Shepherd (centralmoinfo.com) — Fulton readers may recognize the Shepherd family name, as Milford Shepherd’s brother Gregory and his wife Debbie live in Fulton and are among his surviving relatives. Milford, an 86-year-old Navy veteran and longtime Missouri resident, passed away December 5. A memorial celebration with military honors is planned December 18 in Bowling Green, and his family suggests memorials to the Wounded Warriors Project.
   

• Fulton area Facebook page under new admin (krcgtv.com) — A hugely popular Fulton-focused Facebook group with more than 50,000 members has quietly shifted to a new administrator, Judge Mike Carter from Wentzville, who is running for a Missouri Senate seat. Carter says he wants Fulton-area residents more aware of him and hints at changes to the group, leaving some local members surprised by the sudden shift.
