• Monett nursing home administrator indicted for fraud, lying to EPA (blogspot.com) — A skilled nursing facility in Monett is at the center of a federal indictment alleging unsafe asbestos removal that may have endangered residents and staff. Prosecutors say the former administrator, a contractor, and a New York company ignored warnings and bypassed required testing and safeguards. The charges are accusations only, and guilt must be decided by a jury.
