2. Two injured in Sunday evening crash on Highway 116 (kttn.com) — A two-vehicle crash in Clinton County sent one driver to North Kansas City Hospital and another to Liberty Hospital on Sunday night. The collision happened on Highway 116 near Lathrop when a westbound SUV struck a pickup that was stopped in the lane after an earlier crash, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Pedestrian in stable condition after being hit by SUV in north Kansas City (kansascity.com) — A pedestrian is recovering in stable condition after being hit and run over by an SUV while using a marked crosswalk at Northeast Pleasant Valley Road and North Brighton Avenue in north Kansas City. Police say the driver stayed at the scene, and investigators are working to understand how the life-threatening collision happened at the busy intersection.
