Air Evac Lifeteam, a leading provider of air medical transportation to rural communities, announced today that it will open a new headquarters building in O’Fallon, Missouri. The company will occupy an existing 78,000 square-foot building at 1001 Boardwalk Springs Place in the WingHaven neighborhood.
Air Evac Lifeteam will move approximately 120 employees to O’Fallon with the recruitment of as many as 70 new employees in a variety of functions. The headquarters are expected to be operational in November 2012. Over time, the company also will transition most of its communications center functions to O’Fallon.
“We are extremely proud to welcome Air Evac Lifeteam to the list of distinguished companies who have chosen to make their home in O’Fallon,” said Mayor Bill Hennessy. “We know there were several cities both within Missouri and surrounding states that were considered and we are grateful to our Economic Development staff and the St. Louis Regional Commerce and Growth Association for their diligence and dedication to keep Air Evac Lifeteam in Missouri for decades to come.”

“It’s a huge testament to our residents and our community that the company chose O’Fallon in large part due to their ability to recruit national talent to O’Fallon and the St. Louis Metropolitan Area and the access to a large, educated labor pool in our community,” said Michael Hurlbert, O’Fallon’s Economic Development Director.
After the move is completed, Air Evac Lifeteam will maintain a communications center in West Plains, MO, and a facility in Lewisville, TX, in addition to the O’Fallon location. Air Evac Lifeteam joins more than 1,400 businesses who have made O’Fallon home including companies such as Mastercard International, Citi, MEMC, BJC Healthcare and Allianz Fireman’s Fund.
