Charges Filed in O'Fallon Statutory Rape Case

A Wright City man was charged last week in a statutory rape case in O'Fallon.

O'Fallon Police reported that they received the call on March 1 saying that a 13-year-old female on Eastbook Lane was being touched by an adult.

Donald Rentsch, 27, of Wright City, was charged with two counts of first-degree statutory rape (sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years old), and four counts of first degree statutory sodomy (deviate sexual intercouse with a person less than 14 years old).

Rentsch is being held on $250,000 bond and is in custody at the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department.
