Check Out What's Happening at Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center This Summer

Mark your calendars! You won't want to miss out on the fun activities at this summer.

• “Fathers’ Day” on Sunday, June 17 – Free admission for fathers swimming with their children.
• “Dive-In Movie” on Friday, June 22 – After the pool closes for the day, the pool will be turned into a “dive-in” movie theater from 8:30 – 10 p.m., for a showing of “Dolphin’s Tale,” rated PG. Tickets are $3.50 for resident children and $4.50 for resident adults. Non-resident admission is $4.50 for children and $5.50 for adults. A limited number of inner tubes will be available for use, or swimmers may bring their own if they are no larger than 30 inches in diameter. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please note, the aquatic center will be closed from 8 – 8:30 p.m. for cleaning and set up, and everyone must purchase a ticket for admittance to the movie.
• Members Only Night at Alligator's Creek is June 24, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. If you’re an (RSC) member or have an Alligator’s Creek pool pass, you're welcome to attend this night filled with games and prizes. 
• Fourth of July: Alligator's Creek is open from noon to 5 p.m.
• and on Sunday, July 8. Guests have the chance to play games and win prizes all day. The Cardboard Boat Race runs from 4 – 6 p.m. To enter the race, register by July 3, and make a two-person boat out of cardboard and duct tape. Prizes are awarded to the Fastest Boat, Best-Decorated Boat and the Titanic Award. Pay daily admission to get in. Race entry fee is $8.
• Alligator's Creek School Supply Drive on Saturday, Aug 4. Get a buy-one, get-one-free admission good for the day when you bring five school supplies to the pool today.
• Enter the 10th Annual Alligator’s Creek Triathlon, which will be held from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Sunday, August 19. The course includes a 5K run through the O'Fallon, an 18.6-mile bike ride and a 300-yard serpentine swim.Cost  through Sunday, July 22, is $48 for individuals and $87 for teams. A $10 late fee will be added for registration from July 23. Competition is limited to 300 participants.

More Information About Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center:

• Alligator’s Creek is open daily through August 12, and then on weekends through Labor Day, September 3.
• Hours are: noon – 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and noon – 7 p.m. on Sundays.
• The facility features two water slides, two pools, a lazy river, a water playground, zero-depth beach entry, beach-side water play for toddlers, and a concession stand.
