“Sarah’s Key” Film Showing at SCC

St. Charles Community College will host a free film showing of “Sarah’s Key” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, at SCC. The film is free and open to the public, and it will be shown in the auditorium of the Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences Building on the college campus in Cottleville.

Hal Berry, SCC professor of history and theater, will host a discussion before the film. The discussion will begin at 7 p.m., followed by the film at 7:30 p.m.

Based on Tatiana de Rosnay’s New York Times best seller, “Sarah’s Key” is the story of an American journalist in Paris, Julia Jarmon, whose research for an article about the Vel’ d’Hiv Roundup in 1942 in France ends up turning her own world upside down.
