St. Charles Community College’s Young People’s Theatre invites children age 8-18 to open auditions for “It’s a Wonderful Life” at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.
Auditions for the production, based on the film by Frank Capra, with book and lyrics by James W. Rodgers, will be in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theater on the SCC campus in Cottleville.
A parent must be present with the children auditioning. The auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and a basic song and dance routine that will be taught.
“It’s a Wonderful Life” will be performed in the theater of the Fine Arts Building at 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Dec. 16-17, and 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 17-18.
