Former Oak Barrel Bistro: What Do You Want to See Here?

Since this is your community, we want O'Fallon Patch to be a place where you can not only find out what's going on around town, but a place where you can share your thoughts and ideas with your neighbors.

Our feature "Visions for Vacancies" aims to help residents take an active role in planning and building their community. So each week, we'll highlight a vacant commercial area and ask: what would you like to see move into this area? If you know of an area you'd like to see highlighted, tell us in the comments.

Last week, we asked what you'd like to see in the vacant spot Monticello Plaza. 

Readers suggested a family style restaurant, a dollar store and a place that teaches Kung Fu.

This week, we are taking a look at the vacant spot at 957 Waterbury Falls, former home of the . The bakery celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting in February 2011, but closed a few months later.
