O'Fallon City Council Candidates Share Views at Forum
Mayor Bill Hennessy's Youth Advisory Council will ask candidates questions Tuesday evening.

Candidates running for seats on O'Fallon City Council in the April 5 municipal election will discuss city issues and respond to questions from members of the Mayor's Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) on Tuesday.
The O’Fallon City Council Candidate Forum begins at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall 100 North Main Street.
The event is open to the public and will also be broadcast live on O’FallonTV, the city's cable access and via the city's website.

The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council is composed of juniors and seniors from local public and private high schools, chosen by their school officials to learn more about local government. There are currently six local students on the council, who will host Tuesday's forum, develop questions for the candidates and moderate the event.

O'Fallon Director of Public Relations Tom Drabelle said each candidate will have three minutes for an opening and closing statement at Tuesday's event. Candidates will also have two minutes to answer each question from the youth council.
