Weather
- According to the National Weather Service, there's a 20 percent chance for showers on Wednesday, with a high near 88.
Traffic

- According to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), various lanes of westbound I-70, between Route Z and Lake St. Louis Boulevard will close between 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Various lanes of westbound and eastbound I-70 will close between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Route 94 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Route B bridge over Dardenne Creek is closed for 50 days of bridge repair work that began Monday, Aug. 15.
- Various westbound lanes of I-70 at the Blanchette Bridge will close from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for bridge inspection.
- One to two lanes of westbound I-70 will close at Route A from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- One lane of I-70 will close in each direction at Route Z from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
News to Use
- residents are invited to drop off large items for the city’s free, quarterly bulk trash service. Items that are too large to fit into curbside trash containers can be brought to O’Fallon’s waste transfer station, at 1572 Progress West Lane from 7 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday. O’Fallon residents must be current on their trash bill, and show a current photo ID with their O’Fallon address. Drop-offs are limited to one load per household per day.
