O'Fallon-Native Helping Mizzou Wrestling Squad to Fantastic Season

Trevor Wiest, a graduate of Fort Zumwalt West High School, is 28-11 this season and has helped fueld the Tigers to a No. 6 NCNAA ranking heading into the final stretch of the season.

The University of Missouri wrestling team is among the nation's best in the 2012-13 season. And O'Fallon-native Trevor Wiest is a big part of that success. 

Wiest, a graduate of Fort Zumwalt West, is 28-11 this season and has helped fueld the Tigers to a No. 6 NCNAA ranking heading into the final stretch of the season. 

In his most recent match against Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Wiest won via technical fall.

While at Zumwalt West, Wiest twice placed third at state during his four-year high school career.

He lost only nine matches in his high school career, including an undefeated senior season, and finished his high school years with 191 wins.
