O'Fallon Pets Need Homes

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent homes.

Pets are available for adoption through All Paws Rescue, an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats.  All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

Cat: Gus was adopted as a kitten by a couple who had another cat and dog and lots of visitors.  Volunteers say Gus' former owners said he is good with kids.  When he was taken to the vet, three technicians said they would have adopted him if they didn't already have too many pets.  All Paws volunteers say he is a good clean boy and likes being on your lap. If you want a friendly and funny cat, he may be for you.

Dog: Missy is about three years old. All Paws volunteers say she is believed to be a Lab Terrier mix. Missy was rescued as a stray and had four puppies. Volunteers say Missy jumps over a four foot fence, so she would do best on property with a privacy fence or space she can run.  Volunteers say Missy needs to be placed in a home with no cats and would do best in a home as the only dog, as she tends to be the alpha in the home. Missy is sweet and loves to lounge on the bed or couch.  She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms.
