Shy, Friendly Penny is Ready for Adoption

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent homes.

Pets are available for adoption through , an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats.  All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

Penny is a three-year-old black and white chihuahua that was recently rescued from a puppy mill. All Paws volunteers say Penny is very friendly but a little shy. Volunteers are working on housebreaking Penny and say  she will need time and attention to adjust to her new home. Penny does well with kids, cats and other dogs. If you have the time and attention to give to Penny she would be a great companion.  Penny has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms.
