Three Injured As Car Drives Across Oncoming Traffic on Hwy. 40 Before Crashing
Jordan Sanders, 18, was driving westbound on Interstate 64/Highway 40, just west of Highway 94, when he traveled through the barrier cables, drove across the eastbound portion of Highway 40 and crashed into a guardrail.

Three people are injured, one in serious condition, after a Hawk Point man drove across oncoming traffic on Highway 40 and crashed his car on the outskirts of O'Fallon Tuesday evening.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jordan Sanders, 18, was driving westbound on the highway, just west of Highway 94, on Tuesday just before p.m. when he traveled through the barrier cables, drove across the eastbound portion of Highway 40 and crashed into a guardrail.
Sanders had two passengers in the car, identified as Gregory Sanders, 51, and Jenna Roof, 17. Both passengers are listed as residents of Troy.

Gregory Sanders sustained serious injuries, the highway patrol report said. Both Jordan Sanders and Roof sustained moderate injuries. The car—a 1994 Plymouth Sundance—was totaled.
According to the highway patrol, neither Gregory or Jordon Sanders were wearing a safety device.
