He also expects the city’s finances to remain healthy in 2026 despite higher planned spending.

Prosecutors say he fired a gun into the air during a dispute, and Osage Beach police helped investigate before he entered a guilty plea this week.
   

• Osage Beach man charged for using church credit card for $11k in personal expenses (krcgtv.com) — Osage Beach residents may want to know that a former employee of a local church is accused of making more than $11,600 in unauthorized purchases on the church’s credit card. Court documents say the money went toward food, gifts, online orders, and a legal bill, and that the suspect claimed to have repaid much of it through donations, which the pastor disputes.
