• Byrnes Mill man arrested for alleged DWI after accident on I-44 in Eureka (myleaderpaper.com) — A 43-year-old Pacific man was involved in a minor two-vehicle crash on eastbound I-44 in Eureka when another driver allegedly sideswiped his BMW. Eureka Police later arrested the other driver, a Byrnes Mill man, on suspicion of DWI after he reportedly admitted to heavy drinking and marijuana use before driving.
   

• Girls Wrestling: Capital City takes third at tourney (newstribune.com) — A Pacific High School wrestler, Kaylee Templeton, reached the 170-pound finals at the Noel “Tough as Nails” girls wrestling tournament before falling by pin to Capital City’s Amiyah Gordon. The large 16-team event in Rolla also saw several Capital City wrestlers place, with the Lady Cavaliers finishing third overall behind Rolla and Hillcrest.
