• Missouri man sentenced for meth trafficking and gun charges (ozarksfirst.com) — A Portageville man has been sentenced to more than 21 years in federal prison after Springfield police found him with a large amount of meth and two loaded guns during a 2021 traffic stop. Federal prosecutors say his extensive prior felony record contributed to the stiff sentence, which followed a January 2025 conviction on drug trafficking and firearms charges.
