• Infant and adult killed in head-on collision in Salem, Mo., two more in serious condition (krcgtv.com) — A deadly head-on collision on Highway 72 just outside Salem killed a 60-year-old man and an infant and left a 1-year-old and a 31-year-old woman in serious condition. All three in the Dodge were taken to Salem Memorial Hospital, where the baby later died. State troopers say the Chevy Spark crossed the center line, and only the Dodge occupants were using safety restraints.
