• I-44 collision near Sarcoxie, tractor-trailers and vehicles collide (koamnewsnow.com) — Early this morning, a serious collision involving tractor-trailers and other vehicles shut down westbound I-44 near Sarcoxie, with Sarcoxie Rural Fire and other agencies responding. One lane has since reopened, but debris and damaged loads caused major disruption. Officials are still determining how many vehicles and injuries were involved, so travelers should stay alert for updates.
