The second annual UMSL Girls' Leadership camp will be June 26-29. The camp is for high school girls from across St. Louis area and will focus on jobs in architecture and green fields, education, nutrition and healthy living, and optometry.
The program starts Sunday, June 26 with the theme: Families & Students Explore College, Career and Leadership Readiness (the first reception and panel)
- June 27 (Monday) Theme: College Readiness Day -- (Exploring Skills for Success after High School)
- June 28 (Tuesday) Theme: Career Readiness Day -- (Exploring the relationship between education, occupational interest & standard of living)
- June 29 (Wednesday) Theme: Leadership Readiness Day
- 4:00 PM — 7:00 PM: College Affordability, Financial Aid & Scholarships (Panel) -- (Being a more educated consumer of post-secondary education)
The fee is $195 before May 15 & $245 after May 15. Scholarships are available according to ability to pay.
