St. Charles Mayors' Charity Ball To Support Seven Charities

Mayors of St. Charles County selected seven charities to receive funding from the proceeds of the Mayors' Charity Ball, which is scheduled for April 2 at the St. Charles Convention Center, according to a press release.

The charities are: 

• Unlimited Play has a playground in Jaycee Park in St. Charles and Westhoff Memorial Park in O'Fallon. Proceeds will benefit both projects. 
• Symphony Society of St. Charles County will use the funds for a new transport trailer and hitch. 
• St. Charles Senior Center's Meals on Wheels program
• Birthright of St. Charles will use the funds for purchasing new carpeting in the waiting area and counseling rooms. 
• Preferred Family Healthcare will use the money for a new TV and video game consoles to support physical activity and health programs in St. Charles and Wentzville. 
• Foster Adoption Support Team plans to use the funds for school supplies for the "Christmas in July" event. 
• River City Robots will use the funds to upgrade Lego kits to support the Junior First Lego League.
