NAMI St. Louis Seeks Nominations for Prestigious Gala Awards

St. Louis, MO – NAMI St. Louis is now accepting nominations for its annual Gala Awards, which recognize outstanding contributions to the mental health community. The awards will be presented at the inspiring Roots of Resilience Gala on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa. This elegant evening will celebrate individuals and organizations making a significant impact on the lives of those affected by mental illness.

Award Categories

• The Goodman Legacy Award: Presented to an individual or group who has made an exceptional contribution to the mental health community, honoring the legacy of Mortimer Goodman, a NAMI St. Louis board member and vice president.
• The Community Innovation Award: Recognizing an individual or organization that has developed and implemented a groundbreaking program or idea benefiting those living with mental illness and their families.
• The Corporate Partnership Award: Acknowledging an organization that has demonstrated exceptional support for NAMI St. Louis’ mission to provide education, advocacy, and support to individuals with mental health needs and their families.

This inspiring gala will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa offering an inspirational and elegant atmosphere for a night of celebration, connection, and impact.

Focuses of the Evening:

• Inspirational Speakers: Hear from some of our own volunteers as keynote speakers and mental health advocates who will share their personal journeys and insights on resilience, recovery, and the importance of mental health support.
• Cocktail Hour and Raffles: Begin the evening with a cocktail reception, featuring raffles to participate in with exclusive items generously donated by our supporters. All proceeds will directly benefit our mental health programs.
• Dinner and Awards Ceremony: Enjoy a gourmet dinner prepared by wonderful chefs at Ameristar! During dinner, we will honor individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to mental health awareness and support. Special awards will be presented to highlight their dedication and impact.
