  1. The Human Society of Missouri's (HSMO) Animal Cruelty Task Force transported 29 dogs from Pleasant Hill, Mo. to their headquarters in St. Louis Tuesday morning. The dogs were rescued by the Harrisonville and Raymore Animal Control on a warrant by the Cass County Sheriff's Office. HSMO President Kathy Warnick said, "Now that the dogs are in our care and keeping, we can focus on supporting their recovery." (KMOV4)
  2. Terrell McDaniel, 41, of St. Louis, has been arrested after an at-large warrant was issued. The charges are in connection with Andre Jermaine Nash's Nov. 3 death where he was found dead in the 5900 block of St. Louis Ave. McDaniel's warrant included "using a firearm in the furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and in the course of thereof causing death." (KMOV4)
  3. Southwest Airlines canceled more than half of its flights to and from St. Louis Lambert International Airport due to bad weather. The cancelations from the airport's dominant carrier led to a nightmare for staffing and operations. The airline canceled two-thirds of its scheduled flights nationwide due to the severe weather.
