Here are the top stories today in St. Louis:
- Three children were transported to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 47. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver of the vehicle struck a mailbox before veering across the roadway's centerline and colliding head-on with a tractor trailer. All five people involved in the accident were wearing seat belts. (The Missourian)
- A St. Louis community group provided food and gifts to neighbors in need on Saturday. The holiday-centered group, Community Christmas, partnered with Alderman Jeffrey Boyd to provide hundreds of hot holidays meals to community members. The group has been serving St. Louis every year since it was founded in 2018. (KSDK.com)
- A man has been charged in connection with the death of a toddler in South City earlier this month. 33-year-old Timothy Robinson is charged with second-degree felony murder and abuse or neglect of a child in connection with the death of 3-year-old Emmanuel Ware. Ware was struck by a car on Dec. 10 and later died at the hospital. The suspect, Robinson, is already being held in connection with a robbery that took place on December 13. (KMOV.com)
