- Three people were injured late Tuesday evening in a shooting on Athlone Avenue in north St. Louis. Officials say the incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. when an unknown suspect shot two women in the leg and a man in the arm. All three victims are expected to survive their injuries. - Giveaways of free gas around the city are leading to major traffic jams. A line of cars at BP Gas Station at 905 Kingshighway stretched all the way back to Delmar Avenue Wednesday morning as drivers waited their turn for a free fillup. The gas is being provided by My Mothers Roots daycare, which gave away $10,000 worth of gas at different gas stations on Wednesday.(KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- Local restaurant Bootleggin’ BBQ has announced plans to move to a new location in the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood. The restaurant will be rebranded to Bootleggin’ Tavern and feature its original offerings as well as the addition of several healthier menu items. Co-owners Brenton Brown and Eddie Belter say they hope to have the new 2,500-square-foot space opened by spring or early summer. (KSDK.com)
