Here are the top 3 stories today in St. Louis:

  1. Roughly 100 firefighters responded to a five-alarm warehouse fire near the riverfront on Tuesday evening. Police department officials say three buildings were exposed to the blaze at the intersection of North First and O'Fallon Streets, where multiple walls have since collapsed. One civilian was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries resulting from the fire. (KMOV4)
  2. Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis has received approval to demolish a historic local church. The site in Forest Park Southeast at 4321 Chouteau Avenue will house a brand new $30 million headquarters for the nonprofit organization. The group previously received approval for the demolition in 2018 but was required to return to the St. Louis Preservation Board for re-approval this year due to project delays caused by the pandemic. 3. The St. Louis International Film Festival returns on Nov. 3, featuring more than 250 films across multiple locations. The 31st annual festival will run through Nov. 13 and feature titles such as "The Son" with Hugh Jackman and "Corner Office" with Jon Hamm. Tickets will cost $15 per film, and discounts are available for students and Cinema St. Louis members. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
