- St. Louis Police Juvenile Detectives responded after a 6-year-old girl brought a loaded weapon to Lift for Life Academy on Thursday morning. Authorities believe the girl found the gun in her mother’s car and put it in her backpack without her mother’s knowledge. Disciplinary action was taken by the school, but police say the mother will not face charges in the incident. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- The National Park Service has announced the 2022 entrance fee-free days for Gateway Arch National Park. On these days, the site will waive the usual $3 entrance fee included in each adult Tram Ride to the Top ticket and adult documentary movie ticket. A total of six entrance fee-free days were announced for this year. (fox2now.com)
- A St. Louis man has been sentenced to life in prison for killing four people including a 10-year-old boy. Ja'Vonne Dupree, 24, was convicted in October for the 2017 robbery in Glasgow Village that left four victims dead. Investigators used Dupree’s social media posts to link him to the killings.
