69-Year-Old Man Killed In North St. Louis County Home Invasion

NORTHWOODS, MO — Police say a 69-year-old man was fatally shot during a home invasion in the 4300 block of Edgewood Boulevard in north St. Louis County early Thursday morning. KMOV reports a man in a mask forced his way into the home around 2 a.m. At least two other people were home at the time, and one of them appears to have called 911.

The murder is being investigated by the North County Police Cooperative. No further details have been released. Police have not identified a suspect or a motive.
