- The AirWatch St. Louis project is measuring disenfranchised neighborhoods' air quality. The sensors are being placed on church roofs. The project is a joint effort between Washington University, St. Louis pastors, and environmentalists. The project will provide real-time information to the community. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- Lewis Reed has officially resigned as the St. Louis Board of Aldermen president. The resignation is effective immediately and was submitted through email. Reed has resigned after a federal indictment was issued against himself and two other aldermen for bribery. (KSDK.com)
- Have you noticed that your tap water smells and tastes a little different recently? High river levels have reportedly caused tap water to change in taste and smell, according to Missouri American Water. The change is due to a naturally occurring soil-based taste, but the water company is working to fix it. The water is still safe to drink. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
