Here are the top three stories today in St. Louis:

  1. Amazon may soon be laying off 10,000 employees — several of which are in the St. Louis region. The 10,000 employees let go will add up to about 3 percent of Amazon's corporate employees. According to an August 2022 report by Tinuiti, Amazon has 14 fulfillment facilities in Illinois alone, and two in Missouri (both in the St. Louis area). (Alton Telegraph)
  2. Lizzo is coming to St. Louis on what promises to be a very special tour. The Grammy-award-winning artist is scheduled to appear at the Enterprise Center stage on Apr. 25, 2023. The 'Special 2our' will support Lizzo's latest album, "Special." For tour dates and more visit the link. (KSDK.com)
  3. Four women from Texas have been charged with stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise from St. Louis department stores. 32-year-old Escmira Vasile, 33-year-old Laniva Ghelmegeanu, 31-year-old Ana Curuera, and 39-year-old Desdemona Dila have been charged with stealing $750 or more. The women reportedly entered the Kohl's department store on Gravois Bluffs Plaza Drive, where they stole more than $12,000 worth of cosmetics from the Sephora inside the store. (KSDK.com)
