ST. LOUIS, MO — A St. Louis woman has been charged with assault after an argument over karaoke almost turned deadly Thursday night. The Post-Dispatch reports Lamonda Williams threw a drink at another patron's car outside City Magic cocktail lounge on Martin Luther King Drive, then went to her own car to retrieve a gun.
Police say Williams then fired a shot into the air and another shot at the patron, but missed. Authorities say she fired several more times at the woman's vehicle while driving.
Williams has been charged with first-degree assault as well as weapons-related offenses. She is held on $55,000 cash bail.
