Here are the top three stories in St. Louis today:
- A woman was arrested for a St. Louis County bank heist. Anastacia Washington, 35-years-old, has been charged with first-degree robbery after allegedly robbing the U.S. Bank on Larimore Road last Tuesday. She reportedly passed a threatening note to the bank teller and fled with about $6,000 in cash. She is being held on $100,000 cash bail. (KMOV4)
- A St. Louis man has been arrested after a nine-month infant ingested fentanyl. Thomas Anderson, 31-years-old, has been charged with one felony count of endangering the welfare of a child. The incident occurred on Apr. 15 in the 900 block of Harlan Avenue. Investigators believe that the infant ingested a fentanyl pill that fell out of Anderson's pocket. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- The St. Louis Board of Alderman has passed legislation that provides funds for abortion travel to Illinois. The bill allocates $1 million for out-of-state travel expenses. Missouri banned abortion access moments after the overturn of Roe v. Wade by the U.S. Supreme Court last month. (KSDK.com)
