Blog For Patch And Become The Voice Of Your Community
The new Patch Mayors program will provide resources like newsletters and social media support to local bloggers.

Have you always wanted to write? Are there tons of important issues in your town that no one seems to be paying attention to? Do you wish you had a megaphone to reach thousands of your friends and neighbors? We have a new program just for you. It's called Patch Mayors.
As a Patch Mayor:
- You'll be published on Patch and earn the recognition of your community.
- You can guide local conversations and let people know what's going on — whether it be a school fundraiser, lost pet or a city council vote you think people should be aware of.
- You'll have access to our daily newsletters, Facebook and Twitter pages to spread the words about local events, civic issues, high school sports or even that new restaurant you really like.
The ideal candidate is a sociable, civic-minded local who's plugged into what people in town are saying and doing, who likes to write, is active on social media, and wants to share important stories about his or her neighborhood. A Patch Mayor is a trusted contributor who is curious about the people, places, things that make their town unique.
