A bus driver about to begin his shift and a woman who said she was raped by her shooter were just two of the victims.

ST. LOUIS, MO — A woman in her 30s died at St. Louis University Hospital late Sunday night after arriving with a gunshot wound to the chest. Police say she was shot near the 2500 block of North Grand Blvd. A man in his 20s died at another hospital after also being shot in the chest near the 5100 block of Minnesota Avenue in south St. Louis early Monday morning. Altogether more than a dozen people have been shot since Saturday night in separate incidents ranging from armed robbery to rape.
Other shootings include a MetroBus driver who was shot during an attempted robbery Saturday morning. The Post-Dispatch reports:
The driver was standing near the bus on a sidewalk near the North Broadway Transit Center at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday when he was shot, according to Patti Beck, Metro spokeswoman. The transit center is just north of Interstate 70 near O'Fallon Park and Bellefontaine Cemetery.
Beck did not identify the driver, but said he had been treated for his injuries and released from a hospital Saturday.
