  1. The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been lifted in St. Louis. The City of St. Louis Water Division issued the advisory after low water pressure in two affected areas (one in the northern part of the city and one in the south). The advisory was in affect on Jan. 3, but has since been dismissed as of Jan. 4 at 8:05 a.m. The city's water division tested multiple water samples and determined it is not contaminated and is safe to consume. 2. The Boom Boom Room on Washington Avenue was broken into early Thursday morning. The front door and windows of the burlesque lounge downtown were smashed before 4:00 a.m. It is unclear as of Thursday afternoon if anything was missing from the location. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  3. Tina Metrolis, 54, the former office manager of union Stage and Picture Operators IATSE Local 6, plead not guilty to embezzlement charges on Wednesday. Metrolis was arrested on one count of felony embezzlement from the St. Louis area union for accusations of embezzling almost $20,000 in September 2022. The former office manager allegedly wrote checks to herself and tried covering it up by altering accounting records. She could face up to five years in prison if convicted. (KSDK.com)
