Here are the top three stories today in St. Louis:

  1. A car crash on Sunday ended with a shooting. A 34-year-old man was shot during an argument following a car crash in the 3900 block of Alberta Street in Dutchtown. Both the suspect and victim appear to have been involved in the crash. The suspect fired shots at the victim before fleeing the scene. (KSDK.com)
  2. Blueprint Coffee is offering up more than just delicious coffee. The coffee shop is selling gifts from locally-owned stores and vendors. It will also be holding a class this winter for coffee lovers and those who want to become experts in their favorite brew. There are two locations in St. Louis offering the course. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  3. Warming shelters in St. Louis are opening ahead of the historic cold predicted for next week. Temperatures should hit single digits by Thursday evening, and snow is expected as well. The warming stations will provide homeless and at risk individuals a safe and comfortable place to ride out the dangerous winter weather. There are locations available throughout St. Louis County.
