Car Pushed Half Mile Down I-55 With Man Trapped Inside
A witness recorded video of the incident on his cell phone.

ST. LOUIS, MO — Police are investigating an incident that happened on Interstate 55 this morning when a tractor-trailer truck crashed into a car, pushing it for at least a half mile, KMOV St. Louis reports. In the video, smoke and sparks fly as the car is pinned perpendicular in front of the truck. Eventually, the car is pushed aside, but the truck doesn't stop. It speeds on toward an exit ramp.
"This was really serious. He did not stop for at least half a mile,” Sanel Pilipovic, who witnessed the crash, told KMOV. “I mean he could have killed the guy."
The driver of the car was shaken but uninjured. Police said the vehicles were merging at the same time when they collided, and the driver of the truck did not know the car was pinned.
