Here are the top three stories today in St. Louis:

  1. St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones has officially proclaimed Oct. 4 to be known as "Yadier Molina Day" and Oct. 5 to be known as "Albert Pujols Day" in the City of St. Louis. The two historic ball players were gifted the official proclamations by Mayor Jones before Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Sunday's game was the last regular season home game at Busch Stadium and the last regular season home game for the two players. The two will be playing with the Cardinals in the National League Wild Card series at Busch Stadium from Oct. 7 through Oct. 9. (KSDK)
  2. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department located a naked man dying on a St. Louis street Saturday morning. The department responded to the Kingsway East neighborhood after receiving a call around 5:45 a.m. The man, who was found with an apparent gunshot wound to the face, was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the department. (KSDK)
  3. A former substitute teacher accused of raping a student was found dead on Sunday afternoon in a St. Louis County Justice Center cell. The cause of death is not currently known.
