  1. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a suspect that stole catalytic converters from a scrapper. The targeted scrapper, Metro Metal Recyclers, buys catalytic converters. The thief was caught on surveillance cameras. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (Riverfront Times)
  2. A prisoner-of-war that died in World War II has been identified as a St. Louis native. His body went unidentified for 80 years. U.S. Army Private James Tash, 20 years old, died on Jul. 19, 1942. He will finally be buried in St. Louis on an undetermined date. (KFVS)
  3. The Saint Louis Zoo has a new member. Rhubarb, a Francois' langur baby, was born on Sep. 30 to Dolly and Deshi. Rhubarb is the first Francois' langur baby to be born at the Saint Louis Zoo. The species is becoming endangered, so Rhurbarb's birth is important. He is part of the Francois' Langur Species Survival plan. (KHMO News-Talk-Sports)
