- A chemical spill occurred on Friday on South 2nd Street. The incident occurred when a 55-gallon drum of acetone ruptured near the Sigma-Aldrich building shortly before 12:30 p.m. A Hazardous Materials Task Force and the St. Louis City Fire Department responded to the chemical spill. (KMOV)
- Eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 were shut down on Friday morning after a three-vehicle crash. The incident occurred near Carrie shortly before 6:00 a.m. The crash involved an empty school bus. The St. Louis Police Department reports that one of the vehicle's drivers sustained minor injuries during the incident. (KMOV)
- Missouri's Emergency Management Agency reports that it has received 12 notices of interest from St. Louis municipalities in a flooded home buyout program. The program would involve FEMA paying for 75 percent of the purchase with the municipalities paying for the remainder. The bought-out homes would then be demolished. Currently, the program is interested in 93 properties. (KSDK)
