City Seeks 10 Riverfront Vendors For The Gateway Arch
The deadline to apply is Friday, March 9.

ST. LOUIS, MO — The St. Louis Streets Department is seeking vendors to serve the riverfront at the Gateway Arch. Applications are due by Friday, March 9, and can be found at http://bit.ly/STLVend. Potential vendors must pay a $100 non-refundable processing fee and a $500 deposit to the Port Authority. The deposit will be refunded in April if the vendor is not chosen.
Gateway Arch National Park has undergone extensive renovation in recent years, including the construction of new bike paths that connect to regional trails, new lighting, and levees to prevent flooding.
CityArchRiver partners, who include Great Rivers Greenway, the St. Louis Development Corporation and the City of St. Louis, say they hope new vendors will enhance and liven the park grounds that see more than 2.5 million visitors annually.

The city is seeking vendors for foods and beverages, souvenirs, merchandise, rentals and more. Ten dedicated spaces are available on Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd. between the Poplar Street and Eads Bridges, under the Gateway Arch. Ten of the spaces have electricity available.
The city's request asks vendors to commit to maintaining a presence on the riverfront for seven hours per day, 6 days per week from May to September. If vendors would like to continue past those months, they may do so at a schedule of their own choosing between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Vendors are not guaranteed space during some special events. Vendors are also encouraged to collaborate on creative proposals or rotating options for the same booth to cover such a large commitment.
