Committee Meets To Deal With Trash Issues In St. Louis
The city said it plans to buy more than 30 new garbage trucks by the end of the year.
ST. LOUIS, MO — With trash piling up around the city, residents' complaints are getting louder. The city says it has workers ready to hire, but many of its aging trucks are broken down and in dire need of repair.
The Streets, Traffic and Refuse Committee met at 10 a.m. Tuesday to discuss current status of trash services throughout the city. The street director, refuse commissioner, personnel director and union representatives were all present. Watch the video above.
