Conservative Host Loses Another Show After Parkland Threat
The St. Louis commentator made threats involving a "hot poker" directed at Florida school shooting survivor David Hogg.

ST. LOUIS, MO — Jamie Allman, a conservative commentator who until last week had two local radio and television programs has now lost both. KDNL Channel 30, a Sinclair Broadcast Group station, canceled "The Allman Report" Monday and Allman resigned after several businesses pulled their advertising from his show.
KFTK-FM, a conservative radio station based in St. Louis, announced Tuesday night that it too had "parted ways" with Allman.
According to screenshots taken by the Post-Dispatch, Allman threatened Parkland shooting survivor and gun reform activist David Hogg on Twitter, writing in March: "When we kick their a-- they all like to claim we're drunk. I've been hanging out getting ready to ram a hot poker up David Hogg's a-- tomorrow. Busy working. Busy preparing."

Allman later locked his Twitter account and no tweets are currently visible on his page without requesting permission to follow him.
Missouri state Rep. Stacey Newman, a Democrat from Richmond Heights, and others organized a boycott of Allman's programs after his graphic and threatening Tweet. Among the businesses to pull their advertising from Allman's shows were Ruth's Chris Steak House, The Gellman Team — a real estate firm — and Ladue-based PALM Health.

"I'm amazed at the outcry," the Post-Dispatch quotes Newman as saying. She added that people from across Missouri and the country have weighed in to let the station know Allman's actions are unacceptable. "People know where the line is," she said.
After Allman lost his television show, Newman vowed the boycott would continue, saying that getting the commentator off the air "took a village."
"Never doubt that one voice when multiplied by others can change the world," she wrote on Twitter Tuesday night after learning of the second cancellation, along with the hashtag #LoveAlwaysWins. "TOGETHER we stopped HATE on TV and Radio in St. Louis by Jamie Allman."
It took a village of thousands working the past 5 days but we all said NO to HATE.
Voices make a difference - particularly when a media host threatens to assault our kids.#JamieAllman @KDNLABC30 https://t.co/OnpWDAwq8l
