Here are the top three stories in St. Louis today:

  1. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reports that two people died during a crash on Saturday night. The crash occurred on Lee Avenue and North Kingshighway Boulevard. The department is currently investigating the incident while searching for a suspect that fled the crash scene. A 44-year-old woman claims that the suspect was taken to a local hospital for treatment after the accident. (KSDK.com)
  2. Today is the final day to apply for FEMA assistance. St. Louis residents have three ways they can apply for FEMA assistance for July's historic flooding. Residents can apply at this link, through the FEMA mobile app, or by calling FEMA's hotline. The hotline number is 800-621-3362. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  3. A woman has been arrested for bringing a loaded gun into a St. Louis County school. Lucille Hunt, 38 years old, has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon — a felony charge. She allegedly brought the gun into a school in the 6700 block of St. Charles Rock Road last week. (Fox 2 Now)
