  1. The leader of a St. Louis drug ring was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison on Wednesday. 49-year-old James L. Brownridge has admitted to trafficking around six kilos of methamphetamine, 3.3. kilos of cocaine, and 102 grams of cocaine base. Brownridge is one of 11 suspects to have pleaded guilty in connection with the drug ring so far. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  2. The International Space Station passed over the St. Louis region on Tuesday, capturing the interstellar view on video. The satellite footage shared shows a clear view of the city and the Metro East at the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers. According to NASA, locals will have a chance to spot the station in the sky for five minutes on Saturday morning. (Jacksonville Journal-Courier)
  3. Restaurants in the Central West End are boarding up windows and doors after a string of overnight break-ins on Tuesday. Sunisa’s Thai Bowl, Hon’s Wok, and a Wing Stop location on Lindell Boulevard were among the businesses hit by attempted burglaries this week. Police have not determined whether the incidents are connected but ask anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at 366-371-TIPS. (KSDK.com)
