- Electric scooters have been banned from operating in downtown St. Louis in an effort to reduce crime. The decision was made by the St. Louis Public Safety Department in response to the recent shooting of two teenage girls on Saturday night. There will also be a significantly larger law enforcement presence downtown to address the groups of teens gathering in the streets. (KSDK.com)

- Several St. Louis City Aldermen are demanding the resignation of Aldermen President Lewis Reed. The resignation demands are escalating after the bombshell 66-page federal indictment outlining bribery charges that were unsealed on Thursday. Alderman John Collins-Muhammad and Aldermen Jeffrey Boyd have already resigned but Alderman Lewis Reed remains. (KMOV4)
