FBI Asks For Help Identifying 'Left-Handed Bandit'

The 'Left-Handed Bandit' used an assault rifle to rob a Ferguson bank the day after Christmas. The feds wants your help IDing him.

FERGUSON, MO — A man walked into the Great Southern Bank on West Florissant Ave. in Ferguson shortly after 5 p.m. the day after Christmas. He wore an blue ski mask and hooded jacket, and he carried an assault rifle. Police say he made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, and the FBI is investigating.

They are asking for help identifying the man they're calling the left-handed bandit, and the bank is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction. Anyone who knows the identity of the man should call the St. Louis bureau of the FBI at (314) 589-2500 or submit a tip via tips.fbi.gov.
